―Prostitution is allowed in Islam.

Recently I was given some links from a muslim and by chance the first one I picked, was on a supposed refutation of a Christian woman claiming that allah forgives pushing girls into prostitution.

But before we see what is really being said in the verse, please see how the maker of the video openly tramples over the verse in the koran, how he manipulates muslims into believing him and not the koran!

https://youtu.be/roePRQZAtTQ

Do you see what he is doing in the video???

He is using Islamic scholarly interpreters to disorient you by disguising and actually corrupting what the words actually say. But why is he allowing himself to use interpreters, is the verse hard to understand? But isn’t the koran supposedly to be self-explanatory? The koran does says it is! Let’s see how one of the most respected translations renders this from the koran:

Hilali & Khan translation

6:114 [Say (O Muhammad SAW)] "Shall I seek a judge other than Allah while it is He Who has sent down unto you the Book (The Quran), explained in detail." Those unto whom We gave the Scripture [the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] know that it is revealed from your Lord in truth. So be not you of those who doubt.
11:1
Alif-Lam-Ra. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings]. (This is) a Book, the Verses whereof are perfected (in every sphere of knowledge, etc.), and then explained in detail from One (Allah), Who is All-Wise and Well-Acquainted (with all things).
16:89 And (remember) the Day when We shall raise up from every nation a witness against them from amongst themselves. And We shall bring you (O Muhammad SAW) as a witness against these. And We have sent down to you the Book (the Quran) as an exposition of everything, a guidance, a mercy, and glad tidings for those who have submitted themselves (to Allah as Muslims).

41:3 A Book whereof the Verses are explained in detail; A Quran in Arabic for people who know.

Meanwhile however, this same koran contradicts itself saying, it isn’t always clear, look:
3:7 It is He Who has sent down to you (Muhammad SAW) the Book (this Quran). In it are Verses that are entirely clear, they are the foundations of the Book [and those are the Verses of Al-Ahkam (commandments, etc.), Al-Fara'id (obligatory duties) and Al-Hudud (legal laws for the punishment of thieves, adulterers, etc.)]; and others not entirely clear. So as for those in whose hearts there is a deviation (from the truth) they follow that which is not entirely clear thereof, seeking Al-Fitnah (polytheism and trials, etc.), and seeking for its hidden meanings, but none knows its hidden meanings save Allah. And those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: "We believe in it; the whole of it (clear and unclear Verses) are from our Lord." And none receive admonition except men of understanding. (Tafsir At-Tabari).

---This alone is an issue, but we’re dealing here with something else for now. Point is, the principle this video maker seems to apply is, Nothing is what it says, if we don’t agree with it.

Having said that, let’s deal directly with Sura 24:33
1) this verse does not need interpretation(!), it is quite easily comprehended,
2) it is irrational to have another interpretation for these words in the passage. Let’s see why.
(The same Hilali & Khan translation, whole verse.)

24:33 And let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah enriches them of His Bounty. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), give them such writing, if you know that they are good and trustworthy. And give them something yourselves out of the wealth of Allah which He has bestowed upon you. And force not your maids to prostitution, if they desire chastity, in order that you may make a gain in the (perishable) goods of this worldly life. But if anyone compels them (to prostitution), then after such compulsion, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to those women, i.e. He will forgive them because they have been forced to do this evil action unwillingly).

(The words in parenthesis are the translator’s insertions, based on his understanding.)
This sounds absurd, doesn’t it? Yes and no.
He is telling unmarried men, to “keep themselves chaste”… while they have “slave-girls”?!?!?!? I mean, they were allowed to have slave-girls on the side and we know they were allowed to have sex with them, because this is what we read in Sura 23:5-6:

And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts, from illegal sexual acts) Except from their wives or (the captives and slaves) that their right hands possess, for then, they are free from blame;

and the same in 70:29-30

And those who guard their chastity (i.e. private parts from illegal sexual acts). Except with their wives and the (women slaves and captives) whom their right hands possess, for (then) they are not to be blamed…

So, in regards to chasity as everyone knows it, it’s absurd, but in regards to islam’s chasity, it’s not. Chasity in islam’s context, refers to NOT having sex with women you do not own, that is, other women, that are not your wives or slaves. If you have sex with a woman that is not your wife or slave, it is illegal sex and you are not keeping chasity!... This is why it says in the beginning:
“…let those who find not the financial means for marriage keep themselves chaste” even though they can have sex with the women they own, that is, slave girls.

Having said that, keeping all this in mind here, should be in the context of another fact, it being that muslims were allowed many wives, so getting married is the way to have many more sex partners and you can even divorce them pretty easy. -Indeed, adding things up, islam is a religion of the flesh, of sex, that sees women mainly as objects of sex.

But let’s see it also from the Yusuf Ali tralslation:

Let those who find not the wherewithal for marriage keep themselves chaste, until Allah gives them means out of His grace. And if any of your slaves ask for a deed in writing (to enable them to earn their freedom for a certain sum), give them such a deed if ye know any good in them; yea, give them something yourselves out of the means which Allah has given to you. But force not your maids to prostitution when they desire chastity, in order that ye may make a gain in the goods of this life. But if anyone compels them, yet, after such compulsion, is Allah, Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (to them)

----This, "yet, after" meaning even so, after, is clear proof that allah will forgive their compulsion to push the “maids” into prostitution!!!

    Let's see the Pickthal translation:

And let those who cannot find a match keep chaste till Allah give them independence by His grace. And such of your slaves as seek a writing (of emancipation), write it for them if ye are aware of aught of good in them, and bestow upon them of the wealth of Allah which He hath bestowed upon you. Force not your slave-girls to whoredom that ye may seek enjoyment of the life of the world, if they would preserve their chastity. And if one force them, then (unto them), after their compulsion, lo! Allah will be Forgiving, Merciful.

------The same conclusion. The compulsion here is to force the “slave girls” to prostitution, but allah will forgive them for having that compulsion. So he will forgive them even though the girls were/are given off to prostitution and had their lives wrecked! By the way, this “to them,” that keeps coming up in parenthesis, is just because the translator’s do not want to accept what the verse is saying, it does not derive from the Arabic passage and we clearly see that in the English translations, it is arbitrarily inserted to deceive the reader.

Now, let’s take it again, slowly. What we read is, that Muhammad is speaking to the unmarried men, so how can he suddenly, unexpectedly, -supposedly- say he will forgive… the girls(!), when we would expect him in that sentence to continue and say to the men something like:  …YOU WILL NOT BE FORGIVEN, if indeed he is not indirectly allowing prostitution! -Why this double talk, is what sincere muslims should ask…

Therefore, the woman in the video that Farid calls a manipulator, has it right and shows how dishonest he is.

So muhammad is actually saying, Well guys,  don't push them into prostitution if they want to keep their chasity, but if you do, ok, Allah is a pushover, you know he'll forgive you. I mean, you’re men, Allah understands…. Right?...Wink, wink!

(Note: This is how allah conveniently allows muhammad all his carnal desires by the way, in the same manner!)

One very important point here not to be overlooked, is that it is clearly implied in this verse that the girls should not be pushed into prostitution "when they desire chasity,” meaning sex with only their slave owner. This detail here, logically serves the purpose of implying, that when they DO NOT desire “chasity”, then it is ok to push them into prostitution!! -IF SUPPOSED ALLAH AND HIS MUHAMMAD WERE COMPLETELY AGAINST PROSTITUTION, THEY WOULD NOT HAVE THIS “WHEN THEY DESIRE CHASITY” IN THIS PASSAGE.

Logical people can easily understand what is being said here. Muhammad is not telling them, not to push them into prostitution in general, just not to push the women that already have sex with them and do not want to have sex with others for money.
 A reasonable objection:

If what you claim is true, then, if premarital sex is not allowed in Islam, how can Muhammad allow for prostitution??

1) Actually, as I showed, premarital sex is allowed, if the woman is owned as a slave.
2) The slave girls were probably prostituted mostly to non-muslims, so they don’t count as fornicators; they’re already kufars anyway, right?… Allah and muhammad don’t have an issue with that…

For Arabic speakers, see it here in Arabic and English.

This is from Qurano.com, verse and translation together, from:
 https://qurano.com/en/24-an-nur/verse-33/

So friends, let’s be reasonable. I mean, I find it amazing, that I keep seeing muslims destroying their own koran. Just be honest and say, THIS IS WHAT THE KORAN SAYS, I WILL NOT MAKE EXCUSES FOR IT! I mean, you want to destroy the Bible so badly, even if that means to destroy the koran first… Go figure…

Final conclusion, the claim in video that the Christian woman was manipulating the koran is false, the claim that Muhammad and his allah are against prostitution, is also false.

PS. The issue here is not slavery, don’t get conveniently disoriented , it’s prostitution.
